Welcome to my first ever blog post! Woweee. A year ago I would never imagined myself sitting here in Japan with a blog and an instagram audience who appreciate my posts, take what I say and implement into their own lives! It has only been 8 weeks since my instagram page tays_way_ has been up and running (and finally getting my act together to get this blog up and running) but it has brought an overwhelming sense of happiness and gratitude into my life! My husband always tells me to “be a blessing to others and they will always be a blessing to you”. I remind myself of his words every day.
A little bit about me:
I am 25, married, my mum is Australian my dad Samoan, I grew up in Campbelltown, NSW and have always (since I can remember) had this fiery passion inside of me to help others and give more. From a young age I have valued my health and I LOVE to be active. I’ve played all different kinds of sports, tennis, swimming, athletics, basketball, touch football but the sport I played most was/is netball – I am a netty girl at heart!
One of my biggest passions in my life is being healthy and over the past year a few pivotal life experiences have lead me to dive deeper into this world of “health care” and learn how to take better care of my body. Since then I have been hungry to learn more about holistic health and healing. One of my girlfriends in particular, has played a fundamental role in my life by introducing me to certain people and avenues which has lead me to a place where I have never felt healthier and am in complete tune with my body.
Every day I am either reading different articles, health books, watching online seminars or health documentaries. I am a big believer in SELF-educating. From what I have come to learn and how truly healthy I feel, has driven me to want to share it with as many people as I can. It is so empowering when you learn how to really take care of your body and strive to be the best version of yourself! I can honestly say today I feel the best I have ever felt and I want others to feel that too! That is ultimately why I started, Tay’s Way. To show people you can (by self education), learn and put into practice ways to better care for yourself in order to reach optimal health which in turn I believe will bring greater happiness.
A HUGE THANK YOU to those who take the time to read my blog, it means more to me than you know.
