What Tay’s Way is about.

It’s incredibly eye-opening to see how many people reach out to me (after only 3.5 months of starting my instagram page) with health problems and issues they are dealing with in their life. So many of these problems can be put down to nutrient deficient diets, not detoxing, lack of exercise, being out of touch with nature, too much overall toxicity and yet no one really is aware of how they can help themselves become better naturally.

It really speaks volumes and reconfirms my belief that the “health (sick) care” system that is in place today, is really letting us down.

Pharmaceutical companies don’t make money by encouraging doctors to tell you to drink fresh green juice daily, detox through colonics or coffee enemas, lay out in the sunshine, drink more water, get more sleep, go for a walk. There is now a pill for every ill and natural healing mechanisms aren’t advised, they are shut down, suppressed and continually dismissed as ‘quackery’.

“Good health makes a lot of sense, but it doesn’t make a lot of dollars” – Dr Andrew Saul Ph.D

If I really think about how many people (including myself) have lost loved ones to cancer or have friends, relatives, acquaintances they know living with all different kinds of sickness and disease…it almost brings me to tears. It feels like sickness is lurking around every corner.

Well the good news is it doesn’t have to be that way. We don’t have to live in a world full of sick people or live in fear of getting sick. We all have a choice and we have the power to decide how we live our lives.

I choose to spread awareness through tays_way_ to help people become aware of the importance of prevention and other options that are available to us that can help restore our bodies natural healing mechanisms. I believe in spreading awareness so that we can make well rounded, well informed decisions on how best to care for your body. Our bodies are designed to heal and be healthy. Stop trusting the doctor so much with your health and start taking control and responsibility. Only you know how you are feeling. Only you can listen to your body, get to know your body and give it what it needs.

The more I blog, the more people reach out, the more I get an understanding of how we are all so out of touch with our own ability to prevent and cure ourself of disease. And this is simply because society isn’t educated enough about the importance of going back to nature, back to basics when it comes to good health and healing. We have conformed and accepted the cut, burn, poison approach to sickness and disease. We stay indoors on computers instead of hanging outside amongst nature and we eat food out of convenience and sugar cravings, not to nourish, restore and heal our amazing bodies.

“There is no magic bullet but there is a lifestyle change that reverses serious chronic disease. It’s cheap, it’s simple, it’s safe, it’s effective.” – Dr Andrew Saul Ph.D

I have learnt that any disease is simply a DIS-EASE, something that is uncomfortable, causing you pain, something that ails you. I read a sentence the other day by the phenomenal whole foods guru Don Tolman and it is something we should all take note of. “Any dis-ease you have caused, you can un-cause it”. With the correct nutrition and detoxifying regime, I 100% believe this is true.

It has become a common thought among many that to get better or to live a healthy dis-ease free life is very complex and complicated to understand. I am here to tell you it is not. We need to stop assuming “the doctor knows best” because that isn’t always true. It is YOU who knows BEST. You know your body and you can heal your life.

My passion and belief in holistic health and healing has only grown stronger and stronger and this is because I am continually learning, thinking, researching, understanding and sharing. There are so many avenues to learn about how to truly thrive in life instead of being riddled with stress, discomfort and disease. I want to help make people aware of these avenues and the power of knowledge gained by self-educating (through independent, non-bias sources and information that isn’t derived from government/corporation funded studies).

For the first time in my life I am truly living with purpose through my blog and I can’t begin to describe how much happiness, joy, self-worth, confidence, gratitude and love it has given me.

When people are continually thanking me for helping turn their life around and making them aware of different options to take care of their bodies, that’s what drives me to keep pursuing my passion. I’m making a positive difference in other peoples lives and it’s the best feeling in the world.

I had a few challenging comments on my last blog post and thankfully those kind of comments are the minority amongst the many amazing, positive comments and feedback I receive by sharing my health journey with others. So I would just like to make it clear, if what I blog about makes you feel uncomfortable, please simply unfollow. I believe wholeheartedly in what I am doing and can assure you, close minded, ignorant comments will not stop me from sharing my journey and continuing to spread awareness of natural holistic health and healing methods, whether you agree with it or not.

It is called Tay’s Way for a reason.

“All truth passes through three stages. First, it is ridiculed. Second, it is violently opposed. Third, it is accepted as being self-evident.” – Arthur Schopenhauer
